Who wrote it
I have been in the room.
I am Jen Ballew, a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and lactation professional. I have spent more than a decade doing this work and attended around two hundred births, in hospitals, in birth centers, and at home, in straightforward births and in the ones that turned.
I wrote this guide myself, the same way I teach every session in Threshold myself. It is the honest version of what I wish every family had before they chose their care.
